Mary Kelser, an accomplished musician and music teacher, is buried at the Daughters of Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Kelser was the widow of both Rev. M. T. Lewis, a pastor of the Delevan Baptist Church (First Baptist Church, West Main) and entrepreneur and teacher, Robert Kelser, who are buried nearby. She is pictured standing (back row) between her son-in-law, C. H. Bullock (son of Burkley Bullock) and her daughter, Lottie Lewis Bullock, former Jefferson School teachers and Starr Hill residents.
