Mary Kelser, an accomplished musician and music teacher, is buried at the Daughters of Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Kelser was the widow of both Rev. M. T. Lewis, a pastor of the Delevan Baptist Church (First Baptist Church, West Main) and entrepreneur and teacher, Robert Kelser, who are buried nearby. She is pictured standing (back row) between her son-in-law, C. H. Bullock (son of Burkley Bullock) and her daughter, Lottie Lewis Bullock, former Jefferson School teachers and Starr Hill residents. Also pictured (front row) are Charles Bullock, Jr. with children Charles III and Eleanor.
