From earlier research, we are aware of two surviving records of cemetery plots sold at the Daughters of Zion Cemetery.

Jesse Coles, Jesse Cary, and Robert Goens (or Goings), trustees for the Daughters of Zion, sold to Cornelia Gilmore and her heirs, for twenty dollars, “One whole Section No. Two …in the first row of sections…on the left hand side of the Alley, leading from the Gate of Entry, into said Cemetery…” The plot was “Twenty feet square . . . in size, and fully and explicitly numbered and described in the plan and plat of said Cemetery, which [was] in the hands of said Trustees.”

J.H. Brown and Charles James, trustees for the Daughters of Zion, sold to Tamar Wright, for ten dollars, “a certain half section, on the south side of Charles Goodloes Section . . . fronting 9 feet and running back 18 feet” (sic).
