Virginia Wyatt Alexander, wife of David D. Alexander, died on Wednesday October 18, 1905 in Richmond. She was the daughter of Joseph and Julia Wyatt of Scottsville, and the sister of Phillip Wyatt of 231 6th Street NW in Charlottesville’s Starr Hill neighborhood. The Daily Progress reported that her funeral was held at the First Baptist Church but does not say where she was buried. Since her husband David D. Alexander was buried at the Daughters of Zion Cemetery when he died in 1916, it’s likely that her burial place was there.
